Tue, 24 Jan 2012 01:10:19 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 Behind the scenes of a viral video: Ashley Klinger http://frankmcdade.com/behind-the-scenes-of-a-viral-video-ashley-klinger/ http://frankmcdade.com/behind-the-scenes-of-a-viral-video-ashley-klinger/#comments Sat, 27 Feb 2010 18:59:17 +0000 Frank McDade http://frankmcdade.com/?p=881 So, it has been a crazy week for my friend and I can’t get over it.  I’ve been trying to help her field all of the messages she has been receiving from Yahoo! and people saying they’re with Google.  It’s so funny that she made this video out of boredom and it’s now entertaining the country.  I’ve watched viral videos explode before, but seeing it from the other side of the equation is wild.  She’s gotten hundreds of friend requests on Facebook, around 6,000 people have rated her video, and has received close to 700 comments and the video is only at half a million views as of now.  Somebody has even created t-shirts about her!  Since she was on her way to an audition when she got snowed in the airport I think we should start a campaign to get her more auditions.  More auditions = more videos.  I’m going to do a follow-up to this with an analysis of all the Google Insight data from her video.  Behind the scenes of a viral video: Ashley Klinger.

Jimmy gets ready for the show by putting on his tailored suit coat and tie, then realizing the time, rushes off to the show. Upon his arrival, he can hear the legendary Roots crew playing his entrance jam. Jimmy enters the main floor (simulating promo pic #2) to perform his monologue and scores a joke that he is rather proud of – displaying his excitement through a pantomimed strike. Pleased with his intro for the nights show, Jimmy Fallon reconstructs promo pic #1s pose, followed closely by promo pic #5, #4, and #6. After the last sequence, there is ample opportunity to party. Soon there after, it is time to start it all over again, only at a different angle.
